We didn't plan to
build a learning
company. We just
never stopped.
It began with an early internship in learning and development — a field we walked into without a roadmap, and found something unexpected. We found that learning, real learning, matters to people. Not just in classrooms or training rooms. In their careers. In their confidence. In what they're able to do next.
That realization shaped how we think about this work. We saw how transformative it could be when someone finally understood something that had felt out of reach — and how damaging it was when learning was designed poorly, rushed, or built without the learner in mind.
So we stayed. And we kept learning how to do it better.
Making learning accessible.
Even when it feels
out of reach.
The idea that drove us then is the same idea behind KEA today. Learning should be accessible — not just logistically, but in the way it's designed. It should meet people where they are. It should make difficult things learnable. It should support people, not overwhelm them.
That belief shows up in every phase of the KEA methodology. In how needs are diagnosed. In how objectives are written. In how content is sequenced. In how evaluation is designed. Every decision comes back to the learner — and whether the experience is genuinely serving them.
15+ years. Every industry.
Every modality. One standard.
Over 15 years, we've designed and delivered learning across healthcare, finance, technology, legal, non-profit, government, and more. We've worked with new hire cohorts and executive teams. We've built single job aids and multi-phase blended programs. We've designed for in-person classrooms and global digital audiences.
What stayed constant through all of it was the process. Diagnosis before design. Evidence before opinion. Learner before content. Evaluation before delivery. That discipline is what KEA is built on — and what every engagement, managed or self-serve, is grounded in.
KEA exists to make that same rigour accessible to L&D practitioners who don't always have a seasoned ID in the room — and to organizations that need expert delivery without the overhead of a large agency.
You work with experienced practitioners directly — no bait-and-switch, no junior handoff
The same methodology applies to every project — regardless of size, industry, or modality
If training isn't the right answer, we'll tell you — the process is designed to surface that early
Every output is stakeholder-ready — built to the standard we hold ourselves to, not a minimum viable deliverable
Years of instructional design practice
Industries served
Modalities delivered
Ways to engage — platform or managed services
One purpose.
Three outcomes.
Lasting impact.
An evidence-based L&D platform for practitioners who want structured, guided process support
A managed instructional design service for organizations that need expert delivery
A practitioner-built methodology grounded in research — not trend, not opinion
Worth saying
clearly.
Not a course marketplace or template library
Not a generic LMS with no instructional design expertise behind it
Not a tool built by technologists who learned about L&D from documentation
Not a consulting firm without a scalable product
“To make evidence-based learning accessible — to practitioners who want to do it right, and to organizations whose people deserve more than a checkbox training program.”
